As a former prosecutor and as a criminal defense attorney, Bryan Cameron has spent a majority of his legal career in the courtroom. He has litigated criminal and civil matters in most federal and state courts of Long Island and in the five boroughs of New York.
Attorney Cameron is a co-founder of the Suffolk County Defenders Association, an organization of defense attorneys who work together to provide education for other lawyers and to share information that benefits criminal defendants. He is also a member of the New York State Defenders Association, as well as the Suffolk County Criminal Bar Association. He serves on the Suffolk County District Court Committee, where he helped review and remedy problems involving the court, including prisoner production, need for interpreters and communication issues. Attorney Cameron has also taught continuing legal education classes on constitutional issues, and the practice of law in district court. Also, he participates as a judge for the NYS Bar Association’s High School Mock Trial Program.
